Demetri & Shanda

This entire shoot was something out of a Romantasy novel. I was completely enchanted with Demetri and Shanda and the locations they chose were nothing short of incredible. These two flowed so effortlessly together, absolutely mesmerizing.

Demitri and Shanda’s journey to their forever home began with a heartfelt moment on their newly purchased property in the scenic Washoe Lake area. As they envision a life filled with love and memories, they chose to start their engagement session in the most meaningful way—by planting a tree together. This act not only symbolized their deep commitment and the roots they are putting down as a couple but also marked the beginning of their legacy on the land they’ll call home. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and their dreams for the future, this special gesture perfectly captured the essence of their love story.

After planting their symbolic tree, Demitri and Shanda headed down to the ethereal shores of Washoe Lake to complete their session with an intimate champagne and charcuterie picnic. The soft glow of the setting sun cast a golden hue over the lake, making the moment even more magical. Shanda’s thoughtfulness shone through in every detail, especially when she made sure there was plenty of champagne— including enough for me too!
