I went to high school with Colton and was so excited when he and Carson booked me for their wedding. I remember Colton as the “Hometown Hero” type in high school – he played and was good at every sport. He knew everyone and was always so kind. Photographing his wedding I saw nothing had changed, and that he still had a tight bond with his family, which I always admired about him.

Colton and Carson are straight from the cover of a Nicholas Spark’s novel – both beautiful and only have eyes for one another. I didn’t know much about Carson when they booked but knew I would love her from her sweet correspondences. At the bridal shoot, I got to see how truly wonderful she is. You guys know laughter is the key to my heart and Carson had me cracking up the whole time. She is funny and sweet, and I immediately knew why Colton chose her. She even remembered that she invited my whole family to the wedding to be there while I worked. I’m not sure she knew the crew is Cris and I plus five, but it speaks to her love of family that she remembered.

After hearing the family and friends’ speeches about this couple I knew they were truly adored by all. They spoke about Colton and the love he has for his friends and family. Many attested to Carson’s adventurous spirit, and intelligence. Apparently, Colton is the secret reason Carson didn’t move to Africa, which many of her family are thankful for.
